Viya, the leading telecommunications provider in the Virgin Islands, announces that
there will be a scheduled network upgrade that will affect internet, telephone, and cable TV service for certain customers in St. Thomas on Wednesday.
This network upgrade will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
Customers in the following areas will be affected: Gasverks Gade, Honduras, Altona, and Demarara.
During the maintenance period, customers may experience service interruptions for approximately two hours. If service is not restored after the maintenance time frame, customers are asked to reset the modem by unplugging the modem from the power source for five minutes and then re-plugging it to complete the power cycle.
Viya apologizes for the inconvenience this network upgrade may cause its customers.
