On Wednesday, Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to a rescue at
sea call by the U.S. Coast Guard at Green Cay Marina to evaluate two
people who had been stranded at sea for five days. An ambulance arrived on the
scene but both patients, had no present complaints and refused treatment
and transport. Several agencies also responded to the call, including police, Planning and Natural Resources and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
