Carlton Williams Sr. Dies

Carlton Williams Sr. died on Tuesday, Aug. 2, on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor C. Williams; six children: Sean “Esbon” Williams, Deon “Crispy” Williams, Dave “Huggy” Williams, Malvern “Mal” Williams, Maccus Williams and Carlton “Horse” Williams Jr.; and five daughters-in-law: Tamika Thomas Williams, Malvern M. Williams, Barbara Williams, Marcelle Williams and Natasha Williams.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren: Amara Williams, Tynesha Williams, Mayah Williams, Mikah Williams, Carlton Williams III, Cinique Williams, Tabbai Williams, Zaila Williams, Ahrkel Williams, Thandia Williams, Pierre Williams, Javierre Williams, DeVante Williams, Malvern Williams, Jahniya Williams, Ajhuan Williams and Tashaun Williams.

Other survivors include seven great-grandchildren: De’vante Williams Jr., Skyler Williams,  Laiya Williams, De’Naya Dawson, De’Vonte Dawson, Denique Dawson and Anayah Belardo. He is also survived by one brother, Emerson Daniel; one sister, Blanche Rawlins; by three nephews: Clinton Daniel, Anthony Daniel and Keithly Williams Jr.; as well as many other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Turnbull Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be cremation.
