Update: Man Wanted For Attempted Murder Surrenders to Police

Patterson Alleyne lll turned himself over to Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives at 2:57 p.m. on Sunday. No bail was set as per the domestic violence statue.

Alleyne was remanded to the John Bell Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing, according to police.

Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives are searching for Patterson Alleyne lll, 19, of St. Croix, who the V.I. Police Department said is wanted for attempted murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault, domestic violence.

Alleyne frequents the area of Croixville, Estate Grove Place and Concordia East, Christiansted, police said in a news release Saturday night. He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, about 153 pounds, with a scar on his forehead and a dark complexion.
