The Virgin Islands Council on the Arts is currently accepting grant applications for the 2023 grant cycle.
Note that all grants must be submitted online at http://www.vicouncilonarts.org. Applicants must register online, complete the selected application, and upload all supporting documents on or before the deadline date of Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022. Eligible individuals can receive up to $7,000 and non-profit organizations up to $15,000.
Eligible individuals and organizations include those whose programming are Virgin Islands-based and those who have been in existence in the Virgin Islands for a minimum of two years. Grants are a 1:1 match, and an applicant may use a combination of cash and in-kind services. All applicants must have an active Unique Entity ID (generated by SAM.gov) and be registered on www.sam.gov.
On April 4, 2022, the unique entity identifier used across the federal government changed from the DUNS Number to the Unique Entity ID (a DUNS number is no longer required). The Unique Entity ID is a 12-character alphanumeric ID assigned to an entity by www.SAM.gov. As part of this transition:
The DUNS Number has been removed from SAM.gov. Entity registration, searching and data entry in SAM.gov now require use of the new Unique Entity ID.
New entities can get their Unique Entity ID at SAM.gov and, if required, complete an entity registration.
