Christiansted Tax Assessor Office Closes Temporarily Due to COVID-19 Case.

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. advises the public that the St. Croix Tax Assessor Office and the on-site cashier located at 1131 King Street, Christiansted, will be temporarily closed effective Wednesday, April 20. The closure is due to a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Sanitization and COVID-19 mitigation protocols have been activated. All staff have been notified and persons identified as close contacts will be tested prior to their return to work.

Tax Assessor Office and cashier services remain available at the Lagoon Street Commercial Bldg. No. 1 (Frederiksted) location.

Persons in need of cashier services may also visit 1105 King Street (Government House, Christiansted) and the Office of the Tax Collector at 4008 Estate Diamond (Sunny Isle, Department of Finance Building).

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor will keep the public informed on this matter, including when tax assessor and cashier services will resume operations in Christiansted.
