The Salvation Army will be celebrating its new building dedication at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16.  There will be entertainment, free refreshments, games and an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 2 to 12.  There’ll be five eggs with $100 bills in them.

At 2 p.m., there will be a building dedication ceremony which will include Dr. Reverend Cuthbert Edwards, superintendent for the Methodist Circuit; Sammuel Sanes, city administrator; the divisional Commander of The Salvation Army (Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Division) Major Juan Mercado; and the chief secretary of The Salvation Army, Colonel Phillip Maxwell.

A representative from the governor’s office will present the chief secretary with a proclamation declaring ‘Salvation Army Day,’ signed by the governor.

The public is encouraged to attend.
