The Crucian Cultural Group presented a mobile lantern motorcade, “Culture, Heritage and Tradition – Dem Lanterns Moving Again,” on Friday evening. Starting from The Chicken Shack and concluding at the Canegata Park in Christiansted, it was a colorful delight to all. Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights will provide music while the band is on the move. Lights adorned a variety of vehicles of all types, including police cars. The entries were judged twice, once at Chicken Shack and again at Teddy’s Party Rentals. Winners have not yet been announced.
