THURSDAY’S WEATHER FORECAST: 3/28/24

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Thursday will be sunny with a slight chance of isolated showers. The atmosphere will be stable overall throughout the day. The high temperature will be approximately 84°F, 28.8°C, with winds out of the west-northwest at about 9 to 11 mph. The possibility of rain on Thursday is approximately 10%.
On Thursday night, the sky will be mostly clear with a slight chance of isolated showers. The low temperature will be approximately 73°F, 22.7°C, with winds out of the northwest at about 16 mph, gusting up to 21 mph. The possibility of rain on Thursday night is approximately 10%.

MARINE WEATHER UPDATE
A northerly swell will continue to impact the USVI and Puerto Rico. A High Rip Current Risk, a Small Craft Advisory, and a High Surf Advisory will be in effect for portions of the USVI and Puerto Rico through at least Thursday.
On Thursday, seas will be approximately 5 to 7 feet, with occasional seas up to 9 feet and a swell period of 10 seconds. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at about 10 to 15 knots.
On Thursday night, seas will be approximately 3 to 5 feet, with occasional seas up to 6 feet and a swell period of 13 seconds. Winds will be out of the northwest at about 10 to 15 knots.
The water temperature is approximately 82-84°F, approximately 27-28°C.
