The Ricardo Richards Elementary School on St. Croix will continue to hold classes virtually for all grades on Oct. 13, as repairs continue on underground piping that has been identified as the source of the water service interruption impacting the campus.

WAPA and Department of Education maintenance crews are jointly working on repairs.

The school was dismissed early on Oct. 8 and remained virtual on Oct. 12 due to the water service interruption.

The Department of Education will provide an update as to when the school will resume in-person learning.
