Man Wanted for Parole Violation in Texas Arrested on STT

 

The V.I. Police Department on Monday arrested Michael Morgan, age 51 of Austin, Texas, and charged him with being a fugitive from justice.

According to the VIPD, officers were contacted by Customs and Border Patrol agents who held Morgan after discovering the state of Texas had a warrant for his arrest. Morgan is wanted for parole violation.

Police arrested him at roughly 4:25 p.m. Monday.

This case is under investigation.

Police urged anyone having information about this incident to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, the Crime TipLine at 340-778-4950, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477 (1-800-222-TIPS). Reports to Crime Stoppers that result in the resolution of a crime can earn the caller an anonymous cash reward.
