Road Work Installation Projects to Cause Traffic Delays in Many Locations May 24-28.

Road work on St. Thomas and St. Croix will cause partial road closures and delays.

Dates: May 24 to May 28

Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This project is expected to improve capacity, reliability, resiliency and increase performance of the existing communication network. Motorists on St. Thomas and St. Croix can expect delays this week due to partial road closures while work is happening at the following locations:

  1. THOMAS

Trenching and Fiber-Optic Installation:

  • Dronningens Gade
  • Sugar Estate Road
  • Norre Gade
  • Waterfront

Line Striping

  • Wintberg
  • Mafolie Road
  • Magens Bay Road

Box Identification, Fiber-Optic Verification and Splicing (Minimal impact)

  • Hull Bay Road
  • Magens Bay Road
  • Smith Bay Road
  • Red Hook Road
  • Estate Ross
  • Crown Mountain Road
  1. CROIX

Asphalt Restoration:

  • Centerline Road
  • Carlton Road
  • Rum Factory Road
