STX Man Treated at Hospital for Stab Wounds

An adult male was treated at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital on St. Croix shortly after midnight on Sunday for wounds suffered during an assault, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police at 12:58 a.m., Dec. 27, the victim, whose name was not released in accordance with VIPD policy, was transported to the Juan Luis Hospital via private vehicle and was treated for stab wounds.

The victim told officers he had been in the vicinity of Aqua Lounge in Estate Castle Coakley when he was approached and subsequently assaulted by an adult Hispanic male. The victim was treated for stab wounds to his face, neck and back. He was listed in stable condition as of 8 p.m. Sunday.
