The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the St. Croix community that, effective immediately, scrap metal will only be accepted at the Anguilla Landfill Mondays through Saturdays. There will be no scrap metal disposal on Sundays.
Residents, including towing companies, are reminded that vehicles must be drained of all fluids, and the battery and tires must be removed prior to disposal at the landfill. Please follow the instructions of the landfill staff and dispose of metals in the designated area only. Disposal of mixed waste is strictly prohibited.
