The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the St. Croix community that effective Sunday, Sept. 27, scrap metal will only be accepted at the Anguilla Landfill Monday through Saturday.  There will be no scrap metal disposal on Sundays until further notice.

Residents are reminded that illegal dumping is a crime that negatively affects the beauty of the Virgin Islands.  To report illegal dumping, call the 24-Hour Hotline at 844-WMA-USVI (844-962-8784).  It’s our home! Let’s keep it clean!

For more information, contact the Division of Education and Communications Management at 643-0410 or email communications@viwma.org. Also, follow VIWMA on Facebook, LinkedIn and/or Twitter.
