2020 General Election Sample Ballots, Absentee Ballot Applications Now Available

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes informs the electorate of the availability of the 2020 General Election Sample Ballots. Sample ballots can be obtained at the Elections System offices or online at www.vivote.gov. Office locations are as follow:

  • St. Croix Elections Office at Sunny Isle Annex, Unit 4
  • St. Thomas Elections Office at Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular)
  • St. John Elections Office at Market Place Suite II

Pursuant to Virgin Islands law, the first day of receipt by the supervisor of elections of absentee applications for the 2020 General Election scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, is Tuesday, Sept. 8. The law provides that any qualified elector can vote by absentee ballot in the 2020 elections to ensure that electors are not disenfranchised by COVID-19.

The application forms are available at the Elections System website, www.vivote.gov. The deadline to apply and submit applications for mail out absentee ballot requests is Oct. 2.
