Matthew Bastien died on July 14 at his residence. He was 62 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Benedict Bastien, and father, Phillip Bastien.
Matthew Bastien is survived by his sons: Glenroy Bastien and Germaine Bastien; brothers: James Bastien, Patrick Bastien and Alban Bastien; sisters: Rosalind Joseph, Vincie Arbs, Juliette Bastien and Millicent Bellot; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, July 31, at Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
Due to the global pandemic, coronavirus (COVID-19), and public health guidance, masks or facial coverings must be worn at all gatherings.
