Police Respond to Shots Fired Sunday in Oswald Harris Court

The V.I. Police Department dispatched officers to the area of the Lockhart Mall in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas in response to multiple reports of shots fired. The incident took place at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, the VIPD reported in a news release issued Wednesday.

Officers on the scene canvassed the Oswald Harris Court community for evidence of shots being fired and discovered spent shell casings, which were collected for further investigation.

The investigation into the incidents are ongoing. The VIPD urged anyone with information that can assist police in finding the perpetrators are urged to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 extension 5579 or the anonympous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
