DOH Announces Territory’s Sixth COVID-19 Death

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health on Tuesday confirmed the territory’s sixth death related to COVID-19.

This COVID-19 death occurred on Tuesday, May 12. No additional information was available as of 1 p.m. Tuesday, pending notification of next of kin.

The territory recorded its fifth COVID-19 death just days ago, when a 72-year-old St. Croix man died of the disease. He was the husband of the woman who became the USVI’s fourth victim the week before.
