St. Thomas Man Charged with Rape of Minor

The V.I. Police Department at 8:18 p.m. Thursday arrested Timothy Brewer, age 32 of Smith Bay, and charged him with first-degree rape and unlawful sexual contact.

Brewer is alleged to have coerced a minor female to engage in sexual acts on several occasions.

Bail for Brewer was set at $100,000. Unable to post bail, he was turned over to the custody of the

Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.

This case is still under investigation. Police urged anyone with abut the case to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 714-9801, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
