Lauren Charles Gifft died on March 19, in Marietta, Ga., at the age of 59.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Charles; and sister, Janice Charles.
She is survived by husband, Delroy Gifft; children: Capt. Michael N. Gifft and Delreese M. Gifft; father, Dudley Walwyn (St. Kitts); brothers: Karney Charles, Chris Charles and Garfield Charles; sister, Dianne Charles Blackwell; father-in-law, James G. Gifft Jr.; mother-in law, Lorena Williams; aunts: Mary Blanchette (St. Kitts), Elvina Brown, Luella Stuart, Doris Harris, June Gloria Gifft, Julia Gifft and Zysca L. Williams; uncle, Joel C. Gifft; The Apostolic Faith Church and Banco Popular families; and a host of relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A private service will be held at Turnbull’s Funeral Home on April 6, followed by interment at the Smith Bay Cemetery. A memorial service at the Apostolic Faith Church in Smith Bay will be announced at a later date.
