Mostly Clear and Sunny

Mostly clear and sunny skies are expected today as dry air lingers over the local area. A few patches of moisture may move across the region from the south during the day bringing some cloudiness and limited shower activity. Daytime highs will average in the middle 80s and some areas may see temperatures rise to the upper 80s.

Fairly tranquil marine conditions with seas to four feet are forecast across the regional waters. Marine conditions are expected to deteriorate on Friday as a northerly swell affects the local waters. Small craft advisories may be required on Friday and Saturday.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents for beaches along the northwest coast of St. Thomas, and along the eastern tip of St. Croix.
