St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group Continues Work Remotely

St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group members

The St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group (STXLTRG) Office remains engaged in remote business practices, but its physical office is closed. This is in line with the recommendation of public health officials in practicing social distancing due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Therefore, all business is being conducted via email, phone and web. LTRG wants to ensure it is doing everything it can to prevent the spread of this disease in the community and still provide the services that the community depends on from the organization.

There will be no Town Hall held on March 23. The staff is exploring options for a virtual Town Hall on April 13.

The LTRG staff is participating in daily meetings with local government officials to stay up-to-date on this pandemic and the effect it has on the territory. The organization will use this weekly newsletter to provide updates to the community. Please check the LTRG Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stxltrg) for additional updates throughout the week.

The St. Croix Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is a cooperative body that is made up of representatives from faith-based, non-profit, government, business and other organizations working on St. Croix to assist individuals and families as they recover from Hurricane Maria. The goal of the LTRG is to match recovery resources with community needs in order to ensure that even the most vulnerable in the community recover from the disaster.
