Eurita “Rita” Yvonne Roberts Donovan of Estate La Grande Princesse died on Saturday, Jan. 11.

She was preceded in death her husband, Donald Donovan; parents: Viggo Roberts and Emelda Martin Roberts; grandson, Inimba Lopez; sisters: Gertalyn Taylor, Lillian Phillip, Clara Henry, Corliss Simmonds, Merle and Alexandria Roberts; brothers: Eldred and Will Roberts; nieces: Sylvia Miller James, Michelle Bascombe and Rhea Roberts; nephews: Glenn and Curtis Taylor, Melvin Joshua, Austin Phillips and Cedric Simmonds; friends: Gloria Copper and Mrs. Vialet.

She is survived by her sisters: Joyanne Aarndel and Myrtle Roberts; brothers: Gustav Roberts (N.Y.) and Elroy Roberts; daughters: Irmalee Roberts (Conn.), Everlyn Watley (St. Croix), Norma Roebuck (St. Croix) and Nitchelle Leonard (Conn.); sons: Winston “Vibert” Tutein (Fla.) and Ray Roberts (Fla.); and grandchildren: Jaime Perez, Moreba Luis Lopez, Inesta Belardo, Malikh Lopez, Quanda James, Astou Biteye, Sasha Del Sol, Courtney James, Lissandra Boatswain, Matudi Reynolds, Maquida Reynolds, Jason Roberts, Racyne Roberts, Lani Roberts-Ferguson, Mitchell Leggo, Clifton Leggo, Malik Vibert Tutein, Tyus Leonard and Tyres Gallant.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Jaime Perez Jr., Octavia Belardo, Jayla Brown, Amon Thomas Jr., Amonai Thomas, Isaiah Britt, Ivonne James, Ivanne Smith, Jabarie James, Tylia Leonard, Shanyia Ramos, Lezlee, Madyson, Jordyn, Cameron Ferguson, Jordon and Ja’lah King, Jeremiah Roberts, Analyse Roberts, Alieisa Lopez, Lisagi Lopez, Alexio Antonia Lopez, Sadia Dubery and Jovani Dubery; and nieces and nephews: Robert, Naomi, Debra, Arnold, Charles, Wendell, Annabelle and Owen David, Kamao Kamuii, Sheryl, Denise and Elston “Papi” Phillip, Randall “Pate” James, Roy McIntosh, Sharon Muckle Newton, Eliza Joshua, Colette Miller David, Berisa, Jerraine and Shermaine Miller, Gary “Padda” Nicholas.

More surviving nieces and nephews include: Sean Miller, Emile Daniel, Warren, Robert and Valencia Henry, Liz Combie, Agnes, Cecil, Clarence, Clifton, Alton, Arnold, Althea, Carmen, Celcilia and Angela Simmonds, Floyd Marvin and Anthony Petersen, Zelema Bell, Ebony Aarndel-Mosley, Andrea and Leandre “Ricky” Aarndel, Lahoma Smith, Phyllis and Jashawn Brooks, Alex, Ruth, Ruby, Rochelle, Roxanne, Resheema, Roland and Ronald Roberts, Elroy Jr., Dexter, Keelan and Dujon Roberts; other families and friends too numerous to mention; godchildren: Brenda Lee, Tameka Samuel and Latoya Boone; son-in- law, Peter Gallant; brothers-in-law: Leandre Aarndel and Reginald Donovan; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Roberts.

Other survivors include special cousins: Renee Motta and family, Helen Joseph and Eileen Petersen; special family friends: Nenny Josephine Hector, Janet Francis and Evelyn Critenden-Richardson; special friends: Elroy Tuitt. Leotina “Tiny” James, Russell Newton, Davic “Davi” McIntosh, Ingo Henry, Melba Graham, Correa ”Concito” Ildefonsog, Eulalie Pederson, Carlisle DeLande, Mona Williams, Margaret Prosper, Paul Barone, Marva Phillips, Dr. and Mrs. Lewis, Mr. Vialet, Lolita Pryce, Mary Walcott, Janette Francis, Burton O’Reilly, Inez Thomas, Berlyn Sergeant, Ruth Long, Pastor Lester White, Patsy Phillip, Paul Barone, Eroda Samuel and the LaReine Farmers Market fishermen and fish cleaners; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7, at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
