Stabbing on St. Thomas in Dorothea

On Jan. 9 at 5:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Nidal Grocery Store located in Estate Dorothea in reference to a stabbing, according to a V.I. Police Department press release.

Police say investigation revealed that a verbal altercation between two males ensued inside of the grocery store that led into a physical altercation. The victim was stabbed several times with a knife leaving him with multiple wounds. The suspect left the scene.

This case is presently under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211, extension 5610, or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477.
