STT Shooting Victim in Stable Condition

A man was in stable condition Tuesday morning after being injured in a shooting Monday  at Crown Bay Marina, according to the V.I. Police Department.

The victim’s name was not released, in pursuance of VIPD policy.

At about 5:12 p.m. Monday officers responded to a shooting that occurred at the Crown Bay Marina. Investigation revealed that the male victim was shot while sitting in a vehicle.

The victim was transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center to receive medical treatment. The male victim was reported in stable condition as of Tuesday morning.

This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the CIB at 340-774-221, ext. 5610, the 911 call center or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
