The AARP VI Technology program, in conjunction with Viya, offers free hands-on workshops that aim to empower 50-plus Virgin Islanders to feel comfortable with computer technology, including mobile devices, e-mail, internet and social media, and teach them to use the technology efficiently and safely in a way that makes sense to them.
The workshops are free for both AARP members and nonmembers. Space is limited so register now. The workshops will launch 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, Dec. 20.
