The deadline is looming to register for Crucian Christmas Festival events and the Department of Tourism is urging applicants to submit their forms before it is too late.
– Dec. 15 is the registration deadline for J’ouvert troupes. Applications can be collected from the Department of Tourism’s office in Frederiksted.
– Dec. 27 is the deadline for Food Fair applications, which can be collected from Food Fair Chairman Bradley Christian or from Kisa Harris at the Tourism.
– The same deadline date also applies for Childrens and Adults parade applications, which are also available at the Tourism Department or from Parades Chairman Kendell “KC” Henry, who is still welcoming volunteers to join the committee. Interested individuals can contact Henry at 210-867-4913.
– The final meeting for all village vendors and booth owners is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 9. J’ouvert troupes and parade entrants for both the childrens and adults events are invited on Tuesday, Dec. 10, for briefings. The meetings will be held at CHOP Bar & Grill at 5:30 p.m.
