Norma Louise James Jarvis

Norma Louise James Jarvis, also known as “Chun,” of Estate Glynn died on Saturday, Sept. 21.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Jarvis; and sisters: Cynthia James and Elaine James.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Jarvis; daughters: Marilyn Jarvis and Annetta Jarvis; sons: Michael, Ted and Ricky Jarvis; daughter-in-law, Brenda Byron; son-in-law, Charles Jacobs; and grandchildren: Yajaira Walters, Makitah Tobienne, Maleikah Williams, Makishah Williams, Makeemah Jacobs, Makey Jacobs, Ciara Brooke Jarvis, Brianna Jarvis, Jaime Williams, Jerome Williams, Ricky Jarvis, Alicia Jarvis, Shenekioa and Shekera McFarlande.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Julio and Jaime Encarnacion, Kaylee (Lulu) Perez, Brad Kacey Tobierre Jr., Ajane West and Jerome Williams Jr.; special friends: Joseph family, Gerald Henry and family, Coconut and Ms. Marie; sisters: Brenda James and Jennive James; nieces and nephews: Debbie Jacobs, Hycinth Harris, Rohan, Collin, Mark and Paul; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 18, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
