Edrick R.L. Adams Dies at 72

Edrick R.L. Adams of Estate Whim died on Wednesday, Aug. 21. He was 72 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Easlyn Adams; daughters: Selina Adams, Regina Adams-Baptiste, Pauline Barriteau and Paula Charles-John; sons: Reginald Adams and Hezron Adams; grandchildren: Sincere Baptiste, Serenity Baptiste, Amia Adams, Aliza Adams, Sharmari Charles, Sharman Charles, Sean Charles, Shannon Barriteau, Kyle Barriteau, Crispin Charles-John and Christen Charles-John; great-grandchildren: Cairo John, Avery Charles and Amelia Charles; sister, Patricia Adams-Nicholson; and brother, Valentine Adams.

He is also survived by nieces: Adanna Adams, Jackie Adams, Irva Adams, Kizzy Adams, Sonje Adams, Samantha Belfon and Roxanne Steele; nephews: Everton Adams, Samora Adams, Richard Adams, Maurice Adams, Irvin Adams, Reginald Adams, Uche Nicholson, Najja Nicholson and Nile Nicholson; great nieces: Kaliya Adams-Charles, Elesha Adams and Aleah Adams; great nephew, Easton Adams; daughter-in-law, Fernella Adams; and sons-in-law: Kenneth Barriteau, Christopher John and Forbes Baptiste;

Other survivors include brothers-in-law: Jerry Nicholson, Vickurs Alexis, Leroy Alexis and George Alexis; sisters-in-law: Olive Adams, Shirley Adams, Patricia Douglas-Adams, Joyce Belin, Denise Romney-Adams, Patricia James and Clara Subero; special friends: Christian Douglas, Magdalene Royer, Lipson Romain, Jerose Nicholas, Bernadette Christmas, Masly Alexis, Ann John, Chester Alexander and Janet De Gannes; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
