Slow Down Dinners to Feature Chef Andrew Thaldorf, Daniel Holdsworth, July 20 and 21

Ridge to Reef Farm offers a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Thanks to people who have requested it, Ridge to Reef Farm (R2R Farm) has put together two special Slow Down Dinners for next weekend, July 20 and 21. Come try farm grown foods prepared by farmer chefs on either or both nights.

The evening will include six plated courses of farm fresh food, grown, harvested and prepared with intention and love. Chef Andrew Thaldorf and Sous Chef Daniel Holdsworth will be crafting original farm-fresh dishes with the R2R’s huge tomato crop, bell peppers, falling mangoes, field pumpkins, carrots, cucumbers, greens, herbs, fruits of the season and other special selections from fellow farms across the island. Attendees’ donations will support the VI Farm to School program, which has begun its summer nutrition service to kids on St. Croix.

Both nights will also feature a live fire dancing performance from Coral Fire.

To RSVP: email [email protected] or TEXT R2R’s new line at 473-1557. Include your party name, number of guests, which night (7/20 and/or 7/21), and preference for either omnivore or vegan.

BYOB! Coolers are welcomed; there are no corking fees. There will be a tour of the farm at 6:30 p.m.; dinner seating will be at 7 p.m. Recommended $60-100/pp cash or check donation plus TIP and optional drink extras.
