Fair weather conditions with hazy skies are expected today across the Virgin Islands as drier air with Saharan dust particles prevail. East to southeast winds are forecast at 10-15 miles per hour.
Seas to six feet with east-southeast winds between 10-20 knots (12-23 miles per hour) are likely today. There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the west and northwest coasts of St. Thomas, and at most beaches on St. Croix. In addition, there is a high risk of rip currents at Cramer’s Park on St. Croix.
