While there remains a potential for periods of showers today, a high pressure ridge is building across the local area which, combined with decreasing moisture levels, will stymie the development of showers through Tuesday.
Across the local waters, six foot seas with easterly winds to 15 knots (17 miles per hour) are expected today. There is a moderate risk of rip currents for beaches along the northwest coastline of St. Thomas and
the eastern end of St Croix.
