Fair and Breezy Tuesday

While one or two brief showers may affect the local area early this morning, a drier air mass will move over the region this afternoon producing mainly fair weather conditions. Daytime high temperatures are expected in the mid to upper 80’s.

Across the local waters, moderate to fresh easterly winds to 20 knots (23 miles per hour) will result in seas to six feet across the offshore waters and Anegada Passage. Small craft operators should exercise caution. Seas to five feet are expected in other locales.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents across much of the territory however, along the northern coasts of St. Thomas and St. John, there is a low risk of rip currents.

Sunrise: 5:50 a.m.
