Pistarckle Announces Winners of 14th Annual Vento Shakespeare Festival

The Top Ensemble Honorees of the 2019 14th Annual Vento Shakespeare Festival, presented by Pistarckle Theater, were the eight students of the St. Croix Educational Complex, guided by teacher Alicia Ramos. The student actors were: Avision Lang, Enperatriz Delgadillo (who also won Best Senior Actress), Korie Hodge, Micaya Labadie, Nadesha Julian, Shomauri Gumbs, Jamila George and Aniis Lester.

Schools participating this year included: All Saints Cathedral School, Antilles School, Charlotte Amalie High School, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, Lockhart Elementary, Nisky Moravian School, Tutu Church of God School, St. Croix Educational Complex High School and Seventh-day Adventist High School (2018 Top Champions). This year’s emcee was Jada Lark, and the judges included: Estelle Andres, Frank Bartolucci and Gail DeHaas. The repeat host location was Nisky Moravian Church.

  1. I was representing Lochkart Elemntary but I am really glad that St.CROIX won !!!!! B ut I didn’t like the results in one of then because Lochkart did a awesome dance and I don’t know why they give that best dancers to st.croix they just went to the stage and move around and that is it but thanks to god everything else were fair.
