Saturday Forecast: Mix of Clouds and Sunshine, Breezy, Isolated Showers

A mixture of clouds and sunshine with only a few showers will be noted across the Virgin Islands today. An area of surface high pressure across the Atlantic basin continues to promote breezy conditions with winds between 15-20 miles per hour while daytime highs will average in the mid to upper 80s.

The combination of moderate to fresh easterly winds and a small northerly swell should result in seas to seven feet. Small craft advisories are posted for the offshore Atlantic waters and the waters of the Anegada Passage. Small craft operators should exercise caution across the regional waters.

There is a high risk of rip currents at Cramer’s Park on St. Croix and a moderate risk of rip currents elsewhere.

Sunrise is at 6:10 a.m. and sunset will occur at 6:35 p.m.
