CTEC Celebrates V.I. History Month

The St. Croix Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) has been conducting various activities in celebration of Virgin Islands History Month (March 2019). These several activities included:
Poster Scavenger Hunt. Students were quizzed on V.I. history information provided on posters. Two winners were selected and received a gift bag.

Door Decoration. Winner received a class party. Elen Benjamin was the teacher.
Food Tasting. All CTEC personnel provided various cultural foods to share.
Story-Telling — Andrea Christian
Dance Presentation — Ricardo Richards Elementary School
DJ Music by DJ Cupid
Dance Selection — Trinity Cupid
Entertainment — King Kan
Display of Cultural Items: Mocko Jumbies, coal pot, oil lamp, mortor and pestle, etc.
