George W. Francis

George W. Francis died on Feb. 24.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Francis; mother, Caro George; daughter, Sandra Johnson; brothers: Dunstan Francis, Jacob Francis, Alexander Benjamin and Walter Joseph; and sisters: Racheal Francis, Leah Francis and Ada Looby.

He is survived by his son, Elsworth Francis; grandsons: Troy Johnson, Elsworth, Darnell, Itieba, Mallacoy and D’Andre Francis; granddaughters: Sophia Johnson and Aaliyah Francis; great- grandchildren: Jahhim Johnson, Diamone’ Johnson, Angellee Johnson, A’mya Francis, Kimiah Jackson, Nila Francis, Maliyah Francis and Kimari Jackson Jr.; and nephews: Sir Clare Roberts, Noel Roberts, Charleston, Lennox, George and Dwaine Looby, Neville Francis and Derrick Francis.

He is also survived by nieces: Florence, Sheila, Maise and Rovena Looby, Ruthlyn Roberts and Leslie Roberts; close family: Soliel Vance, Heidi Clarke, Julie Rodriquez, Laurane Marsh and family, Robert Johnson and family, Shaniqua Gerard, the Southwell family, the Scotts family, the Christian family, the Adams family, Cobbs Cross and the Tonges family; as well as other relatives and friends near and far too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel, 129 Peter’s Rest.
A second viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Sunday, March 31, at Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church, William’s Delight. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
