The drier than normal weather conditions are expected to continue to for the next several days as a mid and upper-level ridge of high pressure builds over the region. Mainly fair weather with perhaps an isolated brief shower is expected today with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Easterly winds will prevail at 10-15 miles per hour with occasional higher gusts.
Across the regional waters, winds will average 15 knots (17 miles per hour) with seas between three to five feet. A northeasterly swell may affect the local waters on Monday into Tuesday. This swell will cause the local seas to increase to six feet.
There is a moderate risk of rip currents across most beaches today.
