Sunny and Fair is the V.I. Forecast

A drier than normal air mass is expected to move into the local area today yielding fair weather conditions with northeasterly winds. Daytime high temperatures are expected to be in the mid 80s.

Across the regional waters, winds will average 15 knots (17 miles per hour) with portions of the Caribbean waters experiencing winds to 20 knots (23 miles per hour). Five foot seas are expected today.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents across the northwestern beaches of St. Thomas and across the northern and eastern beaches of St. Croix.
