V.I. Forecast: Showers, Gusty, Mid 80s

Showers are in the forecast today as an upper level trough moving across the local area increases the potential for shower development. Winds will continue from the east-northeast at 10-20 miles per hour with higher gusts. Daytime high temperatures will range in the mid 80s.

Small craft operators should exercise caution due to six foot seas across the Atlantic waters, Caribbean offshore waters, and the Mona Passage. Elsewhere, three to five foot seas are expected. Winds will be from the east northeast at 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour) with higher gusts.
