V.I. Forecast: Gusty, Patches of Rain, Rip Currents

Patches of low-level moisture may move across the local area from time to time today. Today’s high will reach the lower to middle 80’s with east winds of 15-20 miles per hour with higher gusts.

Hazardous seas to seven feet are expected across the local offshore Caribbean and Atlantic waters and the waters of the Anegada Passage. Six foot seas are expected elsewhere. East winds should prevail across the coastal waters between 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour).

There is a high risk of rip currents across most beaches through late Saturday night.
