V.I. Forecast: Patches of Cloud and Rain Early, Clearing Later

Patches of clouds accompanied by some low level moisture may move across the local area today resulting in brief showers from time to time. Light rainfall accumulations can be expected with skies clearing by later this afternoon. Winds will range between 15-25 miles per hour with high temperatures in the low to mid 80’s.

Hazardous seas to seven feet are expected across the local offshore Caribbean and Atlantic waters, and the waters of the Anegada Passage. Elsewhere, seas will average six feet. Winds are expected to be from the east between 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour). Across all V.I. beaches, there is a moderate risk of rip currents.
