Mitchell T. Southwell, also known as “Nash,” of Estate Concordia, Frederiksted, died on Dec. 10. He was 63 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Darden Southwell; stepdaughter, Latoya Darden Lee; son, William Southwell; stepsons: Ivan Darden and Marcell Darden; sisters: Virginia Shaw, Frances, Vanessa, Johanna and Lydia; brothers: Percival and Jomo Meade; nieces: Glenda, Carol, Angie, Lynell, Marlene, Ginette, Telia, Tiria, Timisha, Bikiesa, Lakisha and Daisy; nephews: Tony, Lennard, Michael, Jerry, Glenmore, Roger, L. Geno and Wendell; great nieces: Gamiaha and Ashley; great nephews: Kenny, Kenith, Jamarie and Darrius; aunt, Maleta; uncle, George Simon; cousins and other relatives: Jomo Meade, Authur Bird, Blood Stone and Authur Brown Jr.; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at Freidensberg Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
