Reinhold A.E. John Sr. Dies at 71

Reinhold A.E. John Sr.

Reinhold A.E. John Sr., also known as “Renny” or “John,” of New Street, Frideriksted, died on Sunday, Dec. 2. He was 71 years old.

He was preceded in death by his son, Reinhold Jr.

He is survived by his daughters: Desiree Illidge, Renee Bynum, Keffanie John and Carla Ayala; sons: Damon, Kevin, Devin and Larry Sr.; grandchildren: Thaland, K’Shylar, Lyundin, O’Keshwa, D’Andra, O’Shaylah, Kayla and Aimiya, Jelani, Kamgan, D’mani, Larry Jr., K’zae, Chase and Aiden; great-grandchildren: Jahnile, Ajahni and Skye; sisters: Delores Henry, Marilyn Sealey, Monica Ferrance, Jacquelin Johnson, Sharon Payne and Delarie Payne; and brothers: Roy Christian and Raymon Payne.

He is also survived by nieces: Sharmaine, Anna, Shamonica, Sherrica, Makisha, Latasha, Zalika, Sharifa, Colia, Latoya, Jamila, Kemisha, Shanell and Natifa; nephews: Clarance, Kereem, Akeem, Derrick, Aleak, Sherwayne, Raphael, Leon, Lenny, Angel, Baheem, Roshande, Kamari, Rahmal and Jamal; godchild, Julie Samuel; cousin and other relatives: the Henderson family, Hodge family, James family and Doward family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The family requests that those in attendance wear shades of blue.

There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
