Murchison Ferdinand died on Oct. 22.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Charles.; great uncle, Urban Francis; and cousin, Athernesia Francis.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Ferdinand; grandmother, Brenda Ferdinand; aunts: Charmaine Charles, Stacey Ferdinand, Marlene Johnson, Macouba Johnson, Fay Johnson and Luci Johnson; uncle: Daryl Jobe; great uncles: Tibbs Francis, Ronald Francis, Glenmore Francis, Kenneth Francis and Lennox Jobe; great aunts: Lisa “Shelly” Francis and Geraldine Francis; and cousins: Janelle Francis, Tyrell Francis, Gerald Francis, Joel Charles, Shaheem Moolenaar, Shemoore Andrew, Joshua Atkinson, Stokley Francis, Ebony Francis, Shermaine Craigwell, Wendy Craigwell, Shaquon Johnson, Crystal Jeffrey, Da’Nequa Jarvis, De’Jahni Jarvis, Makeel Honore, DaJah Armstrong, Terrance Christopher Jr., Latoya Huggins, Melissa Huggins and Shinique Huggins.

He is also survived by close/special friends: Julius “Buju” Thomas, Siwatu Emmanuel, Tony Williams, Roy J. Baptiste, Eufield Baptiste, Daren Golden, Avery Toby, Allyne George, Marvine Tison, Marvin Short, Rupert Lewis, Desmond Trimm (deceased), Kendall Trimm, Stafford Matthew, Chayanne Santiago, Brenda Charles, Catholic Charities, Moses Gordon Sr., Janet Mingo, Anderia Lafond, Kimberlyn Andrews, Keiva Andrews, Sherma Cuthbert, Anne John, Cynthia Belgrave, Derrick “Hubba” Rawlins Sr., Craig Rawlins, Irvin Wallace, Jermaine Wallace, Ladies at the Sunny Isles Laundry, Wendy’s, China Jade, Sunny Isles Gas Station and Sunny Isles Food Court; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Tributes will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, at James Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
