VITFF Holds First Development Meet, Focus Is on Skill Building

Dominic Pugliese and Michelle Smith at VITFF’s first Development Meet of the 2019 season

The Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation (VITFF) held the first development meet on its 2019 calendar on St. Croix at the St. Croix Educational Complex Track (SCEC) and Field Facility on Friday, Nov. 30. The meet was open to all age groups and included odd distances as it is early into the season with the focus on skill building. Nonetheless, a number of meet records were established.
