Leroy Joseph died on Oct. 24.

He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Joseph; daughter, Monica Joseph; adopted daughter, Faye Strunkey-Friday; son, Nelson Joseph; adopted son, Ferris Knight; sisters: Genevieve Morris Peets and Marilyn Joseph; brothers: Elroy, Philpurt, Phillip, George and Earl Morris, Al, Bradley and Cortright Joseph; grandchildren: Amanice, Makiera, Akiel Jr., Kingham, Marieliz and Lizamarie Joseph; sisters-in-law: Abiola Morris, Sadia, Teresa and Sharmain Miller; and brother-in-law, Kenrick Peets.

He is also survived by nephews: Euroy, Earl Jr., Raheem ,Isaiah, Marcus, Johmony Morris, Kimo Inniss, PFC Kenrick and Keshawn Peets, Stephon Limerick and Malachi Benjamin; nieces: Shanye, Shanise, Shanique Joseph, Shaneka, Sophia, Taliyah, Atasia, T’keyah, S’anyah, Addisan, Geoshana Morris and Kwanzaa King; aunts: Camilla Nisbett and Audrey Lewis; and uncles: Alphonso Francis, David, Joshua Emmanuel, Denton and Kenworth Crawford.

Other survivors include cousins: Sam, Melrose, Mary, Claudette, Cordella Tonge, Kathleen Glace, Devon, Allan Lewis, Carlene Lee, Marlene Johnson, Shoran, Everett and Kendell Henry, Leon and Lavern Nisbett, Rishawn and Shawn Henry, Resheema George, Kenera Fredrick, Kimesha Bloodman, Jahsara, Jahsar, Jahkayla Bachelor, Shanayla Lee, Kera Crawford, Orville, Sheriann, Odella, Orlena and Osrie Orresteen Morris; family and friends of Old Castle Coakley; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at Miracle Revival Deliverance Tabernacle, Beeston Hill. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
