Car Shot Up in Estate Bordeaux

A car in Estate Bordeaux was shot up Monday night by people in a passing vehicle, but the owner was not injured, according to the V.I. Police Department.

According to police, at 9:24 p.m. Monday officers from the Richard N. Callwood Command were dispatched to the area of Estate Bordeaux in reference to shots being fired. At the scene, the officers made contact with the owner of a white Acura, which was seen to have multiple bullet holes about the car’s body. The owner, whose name was not released in accordance with a VIPD policy to not identify victims of non-fatal crimes, said he had just arrived home when someone from an unknown vehicle started shooting at his vehicle.

No one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Police urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, the 911 emergency call center, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
