Marilyn Fraser Dies at 76

Marilyn Fraser died at her home in Anna’s Retreat on Sunday, Sept. 2, at the age of 76.

She is survived by her sisters: Joycelyn Forbes, Reverend Janet G. Hodge, Evelyn Fraser-Forbes and Jacqueline McCain; brothers: James Fraser Jr., Glanville “Will” Fraser, Reynold “Rone” Fraser, Leroy Fraser and Elwyn Fraser Sr.; sisters-in-law: Esmerelda “Esme” Fraser, Elena Fraser, Lorna Fraser and Lily Fraser; brothers-in-law: Rawleigh Forbes and Ceito Hodge; aunts: Enell Smith, Mildred George, Leona Simmonds, Vida Charles, Gwendolyn Barnes, Lorna Charles, Irene Fraser, Beverly Fraser, Kharid Fraser, Rubena Fraser and Beverly Christopher Fraser; uncles: Austin Fraser, Earl Fraser, Kenneth Fraser, Claude Simmonds and Honorable Julian Fraser; and other family and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing is set for 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at Wesley Methodist Church in Tutu. Interment to follow at Western Cemetery No. 1.
